Zorana Medarić is an M.A. Assistant at UP SRC and a Teaching assistant at the Faculty of Tourism Studies Portorož, University of Primorska. She graduated in Sociology from the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana in 2004 and received her Masters’ degree in Sociology – social politics from the same Faculty for her thesis Sociological Aspects of Domestic Violence against Women. During her studies, she became involved with research work at the Science and Research Centre of the University of Primorska, where she has been employed as a Research assistant at the Institute for Mediterranean Humanities and Social Studies since 2006. Besides that, she has been a Teaching assistant at the Faculty of Tourism Studies Portorož, University of Primorska. She is engaged with several national and international projects.
