Besides the services in international business co-operations for the MSP’s, the transition of technologies from scientific research spheres to the economic, i.e. business sector and the transfer of these technologies between companies within the European marketplace are the main activities of the Enterprise Europe Network.
The mission of the Centre for Cooperation with Economy UP SRC is to create connections and efficient synergy for cooperation of educational and scientific research capacities of Universities with economic subjects, based on actual needs and demands of economy. In order to achieve this goal, the Centre offers a wide range of holistic support services that are mainly focused on active transfer and marketing of technological knowledge produced by the University of Primorska. These activities substantiate in applicative research and development projects which provide useful solutions, enable the transfer of technologies based on the demands of companies, and introduce jointly produced innovative products and services. The Centre wishes to thusly contribute to higher competitiveness and recognisability of the University of Primorska and Slovenia in Europe.
At first it seemed that the new facilities will encounter the needs of the Centre in future, however, the intensive influx of new material has already induced a serious space shortage.
 

The aim of the Centre for Cooperation with Economy is to strength cooperation between researchers and economy trough common projects and other forms of cooperation. Services provided for the clients are targeted at researchers and companies.

Centre for Cooperation with Economy is also member of Enterprise Europe Network, launched by the European Commission. 

Enterprise Europe Network is the largest network of contact points providing information and advice to EU companies on EU matters and offering services in the fields of:
- international business cooperation
- innovation, knowledge and technology transfer
- participation in EU programmes

The network offers support and advice to businesses across Europe and helps them make the most of the opportunities in the European Union. Our services are specifically designed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) but are also available to all businesses, research centres and Universities across Europe.

The Enterprise Europe Network is made up of close to 500 partner organisations in more than 40 countries and employing around 4 000 experienced staff working to support the competitiveness of EU businesses.
